Burgau is a safe, family friendly place in Algarve with lots to do both in and around the village. The local restaurants are very used to having children around and the Burgau sports club runs kids activities in the morning. The Burgau beaches are pretty and sandy. Many of these beaches are relatively undiscovered offering private sunbathing conditions, others are more crowded but have restaurant facilities. Apartamentos Os Descobrimentos complex boasts facilities including a gym, swimming pool and a great restaurant. All apartments and villas enjoy fantastic views across Burgau bay. Onsite parking is available but not suitable for large cars.
